Schoolboys Centenary Team Announced The Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League proudly announced its Centenary Team at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, on Thursday 18 September. With 1972 coach Roy Masters in attendance the team recognises the outstanding talent that has come through the schoolboys ranks. The selection criteria was that the player not only had to be selected for the Australian Schoolboys but also go on to be selected for the Kangaroos. Each player selected was awarded a commemorative jumper that was sponsored by long term sponsor Classic Sportswear. more -->

World Champions Again The Australian Schoolboys retained the title of World Youth Champions after defeating the England Academy in the second test of the Corporate Sports Australia International series. The match was a very tough and uncompromising match and lived up to the title of a Test Match. The Australian team now face the final challenge of playing the French team on Wednesday at Kougari Oval, Wynnum. Full scorers attached. more -->
NSWCHS Retain Australian Championship
NSWCHS Retain Australian Championship The NSW Combined High School side retained the Australian title in an exciting finale to the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships held in Darwin. The side defeated the highly fancied NSWCCC side 18 - 12. The home side Northern Territory won the Sam Davey Plate for the Affiliated States over Victoria 31 -10 in a very competitive game. more -->

Exciting Finals Day at 2008 15 Years Championships The 15 Years Australian Championships held at Kougari Oval, Wynnum Manly concluded with a very exciting finals day. Queensland regained the Australian 15 Years title with an exciting 30-28 win over a gallant NSWCHS side. The Victorian side won the John Allen Trophy with a 24 -10 win over titleholders Northern Territory. Two merit sides were announced at the conclusion of the championships. more -->
